Characterization of Strength and Quality of Cemented Mine Backfill Made up of Lead-Zinc Processing Tailings

Predicting the reactions of backfill materials exposed to effects air and groundwater will eventually ensure an efficient accurate mine fill system for sustainable mining operations. This paper reveals effect mobility sulfur ions within lead-zinc processing tailings on strength quality cemented backfills. Some laboratory tests such as X-ray diffraction, ion chromatography, scanning electron microscopy, combustion tests, chemical analysis, pH zeta potential measurements were performed better characterize backfill’s mechanical microstructural properties. Moreover, CEM II/A-P Portland pozzolan IV/A pozzolanic cements ready-to-use cement products used preparation. To carrier prevent sulfurous components, a binder content ranging from 3 7 wt% employed in The experimental findings demonstrate that type proportions insufficient some fractures are occurred samples due mobility.
